Getting to Ercan Airport

If you have a flight to catch at the Ercan Airport, you will need to travel to northeast Cyprus.  The airport is located in Nicosia, so you will need to drive through the city and to the airport.

If you are traveling to the airport, you can use one of two main methods of travel.  Some people choose to take a taxi.  If you choose to take a taxi, you will need to call the company and schedule a pickup time.  Then you will have to wait for the cab to arrive.  Once it arrives, you will be able to take it to the airport.

Prepare yourself for the fees.  Often, cabs are rather expensive.  Also, make sure you call well in advance, as you do not want to be late.  You need to allow yourself extra time in case the taxi is late picking you up.

You can also use a rental car.  For many, this is the better option as they are able to travel easily and on their own terms.  If you choose to take a rental car, you will be able to get in the car and go when you are ready.  You will be able to get to the airport in plenty of time and you will not feel stress.

When you travel, make sure to give yourself enough time so you make your flight in time.  You want to make sure you can check in early so you will have time to look around the airport and make your flight.
